First name and content hook are not routing signals. They're conditional variables inside each template. Every template adapts to whether those are available or not. Budget amount uses the low end of your range for broken links, since you're already doing them a favor.
How conditional variables work
Templates use conditional blocks so one template handles both "has data" and "missing data" gracefully. No more "Hi ," when the first name is missing.

How personalization and tone work together: For individual sites (casual tone), the content hook opens with a personal detail from their About page. For company sites (professional tone), content hooks are skipped entirely and the template leads with a direct article reference. The tone is auto-detected from About page pronouns: "I/my" signals an individual, "we/our/team" signals a company. When no About page is available, authority score below 50 defaults to casual.
